Visit the studio
Macramé Stellar Atoll welcomes visitors by appointment during open studio hours. Walk-ins are accommodated when a instructor is free, but scheduled sessions and commissions take priority. The studio occupies the ground floor at 14 Harbor Street, facing a small plaza where harbor breezes reach even on warm afternoons.
From Kaohsiung Main Station, take the Red Line toward Sizihwan and transfer at Formosa Boulevard if needed, then walk twelve minutes east along Harbor Street. Look for the teal door frame and knotted sample board in the window. Bicycle parking is available at the plaza rack; limited scooter space sits beside the loading alley.
Studio hours: Tuesday through Friday 11:00–19:00, Saturday 10:00–17:00. Closed Sunday and Monday. Swatch library and commission consults available last hour of each day. For accessibility questions or group visits, email before you travel.
Harbor Street sits a short walk from transit links that serve central Kaohsiung. Look for the timber door marked Macramé Stellar Atoll; the workshop bell is on the left. Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle tools and choose a seat with good daylight for knot reading.
If you travel with unfinished work, wrap cords loosely so tension does not shift overnight. We keep spare scissors and spare cotton cord for emergencies, yet we encourage you to bring the fibre you prefer for home continuity after the session ends.
